Things like huge monorepos of useful code, internal tools, process manuals, etc. are example products of this. Young companies tend to depend on the dedication and talent of key individuals, and in maturation, must somehow make the jump to institutionalized knowledge (so that "if someone got hit by a bus" things are ok). What are some successful methods you have used or seen used to accomplish this transition? What are problems you faced (skeptics, opponents, etc.)? I am involved with an organization that is slowly growing, is about to lose key personnel, and is looking to prepare.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Trevone Boykin was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty Wednesday to charges from the 2018 beating of his girlfriend.Boykin and prosecutors agreed to the sentence in return for his guilty plea Wednesday to aggravated assault and witness tampering charges. Boykin's attorney said his client will be eligible for parole in less than a year.
Boykin had been in the Tarrant County Jail in Fort Worth since December after he ducked paying for a hotel room in nearby Arlington.
Shabrika Bailey alleged that Boykin broke her jaw in two places in the March 2018 beating. The Seahawks cut Boykin in the wake of the allegation.
Boykin, a West Mesquite High School graduate who played for the TCU Horned Frogs in 2012-15, was the 2014 Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Year and set team career records in career passing yards (10,728), passing attempts (1,356), pass completions (830) and touchdown passes (86). He also set single-season team records in 2014 for passing yards (3,901), touchdown passes (33), touchdowns responsible for (42) and total offense (4,608), and set a single-game team record with seven touchdown passes in a 2014 game that TCU won over Texas Tech, 82-27.
With the Seahawks, Boykin played in five games in 2016, completing 13 of 18 passes for 145 yards and one touchdown and one interception. He spent 2017 on the Seahawks practice squad.
He had been in trouble with the law since 2015, however, when he had a barroom brawl in San Antonio two days before the Frogs were to meet the Alamo Ducks in the 2016 Alamo Bowl. He was suspended for the game, then pleaded no contest to a resisting-arrest count and got a year's deferred adjudication probation. in June 2016.
In March 2017, he was arrested on public intoxication and misdemeanor marijuana possession charges after a car in which he was a passenger struck a tavern, hitting seven people on the sidewalk.

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State is reportedly investigating allegations of NCAA violations made by a former football staffer in a lawsuit.
Curtis Blackwell, a former Michigan State football employee, filed a lawsuit claiming his employment agreement was violated when he was disciplined while the school addressed sexual assault allegations against players in 2017. A recent filing in that case from Blackwell’s lawyer suggested that deposition testimony by then-coach Mark Dantonio may have revealed NCAA violations.
Dantonio announced his retirement earlier this month. Athletic director Bill Beekman said then that it was his understanding that the allegations were “patently false” — but an athletic department spokesman told The Detroit News on Tuesday that the school is looking into them.“We are aware of the allegations made by Curtis Blackwell as part of his litigation,” spokesman Matt Larson told the newspaper. “As with any allegation concerning NCAA compliance, MSU is investigating and working with the NCAA and Big Ten. We have fully complied with our self-reporting obligations to the NCAA throughout this case.”
The filing early this month from Blackwell’s lawyer claimed Dantonio required Blackwell to accompany him on a recruiting visit to the home of a Detroit-area recruit.
“As admitted by Defendant Dantonio under oath, having Plaintiff accompany him to the home of a football recruit on an official recruiting visit is an NCAA violation!” the filing said.
The filing also alleged that Dantonio’s deposition testimony may have revealed violations regarding a donor providing employment to the parents of star recruits.
The Detroit News reported that a photo and affidavit filed in federal court Tuesday purported to show Blackwell and Dantonio in the home of a recruit in 2015. According to the newspaper, lawyers for Dantonio said in a filing later Tuesday that he didn’t recall the visit or authorize Blackwell to be there.
Mel Tucker was hired to replace Dantonio last week.

For my travel site side hustle (beatthatflight.com.au/), I find and publish cheap flights for Australians. Sounds simple, but even if say, someone gave me the flights each day, there's posting the, sometimes to deals sites, as well as then editing it and posting it on my site, and out to social media, and then to specific mailing lists on mailchimp, depending on the source city of the deal, or type of post. A LOT of that becomes tedious. Mailchimp can auto post to FB/twitter/instagram etc, but even converting the blog post into mailchimp emails gets tiring, as you need to choose a feature photo, the specific mailing list etc. I'm a selenium guy, so have built some scripts to minimise some of it, but the rush each time of finding a deal still pains me when I think of the tedium ahead of publishing it. Ideally, my goal would be to submit [to][from][when] to a script and the whole process would be automatic. I can see that selenium could do it, but my goodness, it'd be slow and potentially flaky all via the web UI for those sites. I'd love suggestions, examples of automation you've done, and tools used?

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Two former Ohio State football players pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges that they held a woman against her will and raped her this month.
Defensive backs Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint—
who were kicked off the team Wednesday after they were charged—made an initial appearance in Franklin County Municipal Court in Columbus, and their respective attorneys entered pleas of not guilty.Judge Cynthia Ebner set bond at $100,000 for Riep and $75,000 for Wint and ordered that the men not have contact with the accuser or each other. They also were ordered not to discuss her on social media.
The case now will go to a grand jury, which will decide whether the men should be indicted.
Wint’s attorney, Sam Shamansky, declared his client innocent, pointing out that Columbus police waited seven days to arrest him.
“Were my client some stone-cold rapist, kidnapper, he wouldn’t have been on the street for seven minutes, not to mention seven days,” Shamansky said. “This case is so full of reasonable doubt it’s beyond belief. The reality is, my kid’s innocent.”
The woman told police that on Feb. 4 she started having consensual sex with Riep before Wint came into the room and both forced her into sex.
After several minutes, they stopped and Riep told the woman that she needed to say what happened was “consensual on a video recording while laughing at her,” according to police. Riep then told the woman she needed to shower before he drove her back to her home.
Officials said in court that police have the video recording.
Shamansky, one of the highest-profile defense lawyers in Columbus, said Wint cooperated fully with police before Shamansky began representing him and has expressed his willingness to take a lie-detector test.
“I’m curious whether his alleged victim is willing to do the same. I’m guessing the answer is no,” Shamanksy said.
Riep’s attorney, Karl Schneider, said the young man is cooperating with investigators and is “sad and depressed” about Ohio State’s decision to release him.
Riep and Wint both were rising seniors and expected to compete for playing time in Ohio State’s defensive backfield.
In dismissing the players from the team, Ohio State coach Ryan Day said in a statement that “it is clear they did not live up to our standards and my expectations.”
The program has mostly avoided major off-the-field trouble as Day begins his second year at the helm. Last season, All-American defensive end Chase Young was suspended for two games after accepting a personal loan in violation of NCAA rules.
